Sacha Baron Cohen got plenty of publicity during The Oscars for his upcoming movie, “The Dictator,” by showing up as the main character, Admiral General Aladeen. But as the movie still has almost a month before it comes out and that buzz has worn off, it’s time for some new marketing. And this clip is excellent for just such an occasion. This is the official opening scene from the movie and you don’t want to miss it.
The scene opens with a newscast portraying a nuclear crisis in Wadiya, the country run by The Dictator. As the crisis is hinted at, the newscast goes into a background bio of Aladeen himself, which is nothing short of hilarious. Check out the clip and let us know what you think in the comments. The movie opens May 16th.
