The big news in tours this morning is the fact that Van Halen have cancelled 30 dates on their summer tour with no explanation. That’s right, the iconic rock act have cancelled every single show after their New Orleans gig on June 26th including stops in Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland and Salt Lake City.
As expected, the Internet is teeming with rumors for the cancellation and one source has told RollingStone.com that “The band is arguing like mad. They are fighting.” The group is currently supporting their first album with David Lee Roth since 1984, which is titled A Different Kind Of Truth. We’ll let you know when more information is released.

The ultra-legendary shoegazer act My Bloody Valentine have announced a handful of dates that will take place in Japan in 2013. If that seems like it’s not for a while, keep in mind that the band hasn’t made it to Japan in nearly two decades. Oh, and if you’re planning on attending any of these shows, we recommend investing in some earplugs because Kevin Shields can get loud… and we mean that in the best way possible.
My Bloody Valentine:

02-07 Tokyo, Japan – Studio Coast
