One of the most unlikely artists to ever break onto XRT radio, Cee Lo Green got his start in 1995 as one of the founding members of the Atlanta-based rap group Goodie Mob and worked with Danger Mouse in Gnarls Barkley. In 2010, Cee Lo took a break from Gnarls Barkley to try and reboot his solo career, and reboot it he did. He swung for the fences with his first single off the album The Lady Killer, entitled “F*** You!” Perhaps unsurprisingly, the video was a YouTube smash, reaching two million views in two weeks.

Since the albums release, Cee Lo has split time between touring and appearing as a judge on the NBC hit show, The Voice. However, Cee Lo Green the Soul Machine continues to pump out new music, and it’s been rumored that he’ll be collaborating next with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
