Chris Martin’s voice was meant to be heard in crystallized clarity — the Coldplay singer’s falsetto-fuzzed-out majesty-of-a-vocal thrives in an unfiltered setting. And you could certainly argue the same for Rihanna’s. It was therefore quite the pleasure to discover that Coldplay and the pop star have released a stripped-down acoustic version of their Mylo Xyloto collaboration “Princess of China.” The more intimate version of the melodic single will be officially released as part of the song’s digital EP release.
