The 2012 MTV Movie Awards were last night, and we covered the ins and outs of the evening. But more than just the performers, the presenters and the awards themselves, the show also presented us with new trailers and clips from several summer films, and we’ve gathered them all in one place for you to check them out.

During the special edition “Punk’d” pre-show, we were treated to the exclusive first trailer for “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” As the evening went on, MTV treated us to two additional special features never before seen; a clip from “Katy Perry: Part of Me in 3D” and a special “The Dark Knight Rises” montage presented by Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, and Joseph Gordon Levitt. These were the video highlights of the evening, with other trailers shown in between. So let’s take a look at these three first, and then we’ll move on to the other trailers that were featured during the show. First up is the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” trailer. The movie is scheduled to open September 14th, 2012.

Now it’s time to buckle yourself in for this video. Here’s the video montage (a defacto trailer, apparently) for the upcoming “Dark Knight Rises.” The movie opens July 20th, 2012.

“Total Recall” is a remake of a sci-fi classic, but it really reaches back to the short story origins of the concept by Phillip K. Dick. This one is a must see for fans of the genre and opens on August 3rd, 2012.
