Mick Jagger is slotted to perform on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 19, but it looks like the iconic musician won’t be alone. According to EW.com, Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire will join Jagger for the performance. What will this musical collaboration be like? We have absolutely no idea.
.
The SNL finale will mark the first time Jagger performs solo on the show, although he has appeared as a musical guest previously. Which may be why he’s enlisted Dave Grohl, who has, in total, appeared on the SNL stage 11 times. Arcade Fire have appeared twice as the musical guest.
.
It’s unclear what songs will be played during this appearance, but it seems likely that the all-star group will offer up a Rolling Stones number in honor of the band’s 50th anniversary (yes, seriously, that’s how old they are). Arcade Fire tweeted, “We’re extremely excited to be joining Mick Jagger on SNL next Sat, May 19!” Foo Fighters added, “What’re you guys doing next Saturday Night? #SNL.”

Are you looking forward to this collaboration? What Rolling Stones track would you like to hear on Saturday? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
