Only time will tell how successful NBC’s new drama Awake will be, but one thing’s for sure: it’s definitely got a unique premise. Detective Michael Britten, his wife and son are involved in a horrific car accident. Upon waking from the accident, Britten finds that his life is split between two realities–one in which his wife survived and one in which his son survived. And the differences don’t stop there. We already know that he has two separate partners and psychiatrists depending on which world he’s living in. Just how splintered are the two realities? You’ll have to tune in to find out, but you can get a head start by watching the first seven minutes of the series premiere, which was posted yesterday by NBC.
