Being that summer movie season is officially in full swing, we found a lot to choose from in terms of fashion do’s and don’ts on the red carpets this week.  What to Expect When You’re Expecting hosted another big premiere event, as did Snow White and the Huntsman and Men in Black 3. Things are heating up in TV-land as well, and the NYC upfronts proved to be fertile hunting grounds in terms of fashion faux pas (and wins) this week.  Without further ado, here are the top 10 best and worst looks of the week:

Lea Michele looked simple, stunning, and seasonal at the Fox Upfronts in this gorgeous Pucci dress and Casadei heels.  For once, we don’t feel as though she’s screaming for sexual attention.

Speaking of screaming for attention, former fame whore Britney Spears looked lovely — if a bit boring — at the Fox Upfronts as well.  To this day, our only wish for her remains that she get a better hair stylist.  Meanwhile, Demi looked twice her age in this outfit, though we do love her dress.

It’s rare for us to spot something on the red carpet that we would actually wear in real life, but that’s exactly how we feel about this look on Brooklyn Decker from the What to Expect When You’re Expecting premiere.  The dress is gorgeous, and she (of course) looks fantastic.

Cameron Diaz definitely cleaned up her act after last week’s lazy premiere look, but we still have to hate on these shoes! For some reason, the ankle straps are did not work for her.

Speaking of things that don’t work, let’s take a look at Jennifer Lopez’s outfit from the same premiere. She is a hot mom in real life, so why did she choose to dress like someone’s grandma for this premiere?  And is it just us, or does this dress not even fit her properly?

Elizabeth Banks has been on shaky ground with us lately in terms of her fashion choices, but we like this look enough to let it pass for one of our favorites this week.  At the very least, she wins the award for this week’s “Most Improved.”

And now, moving over to the Men in Black 3 premiere, where Nicole Scherzinger absolutely rocked this gorgeous purple gown.  Pay attention, ladies!  This is how red carpet is done.

And this is how red carpet is done badly.  Jada Pinkett Smith looks like an angry gladiator in this outfit, which doesn’t compliment her personal aesthetic at all.  Plus, we hate one-shoulder dresses!

Elsewhere, at the Snow White and the Hunstman premiere, Kristen Stewart actually deigned to give her fans a half-smile, which give her points for.  However, we find this Marchesa dress to be absolutely hideous.   Especially when compared to…

…the Dior dress worn by Charlize Theron, which is similar in concept and yet gorgeous in execution.  This is our favorite look of the week, and it might even be our favorite look of the month (dare we say, year?).  Charlize looks fierce and feminine at the same time, and in our book she’s absolutely the fairest of them all.
