Robert De Niro to return for Midnight Run 2

The movie: Robert De Niro played bounty hunter Jack Walsh in the 1988 original, tasked with retrieving an accountant played by Charles Grodin. Brett Ratner will direct the sequel, which could also see Grodin come out of acting retirement to reprise his role. The movie is written by the same guys who wrote G.I. Joe – Rise of Cobra.
Other projects: De Niro’s got The Silver Linings Playbook coming up with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

Jessica Biel as Vera Miles in Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho

The movie: Similar to My Week With Marilyn, this movie tells the behind-the-scenes story of the making of Hitchcock’s classic horror film, Psycho. Anthony Hopkins will play Hitchcock himself, Helen Mirren will play his wife, and Scarlett Johansson will play actress Janet Leigh. Biel will slip into the role of actress Vera Miles.
Other projects: She’s got the upcoming remake of Schwarzenegger’s Total Recall out this year opposite Colin Farrell.

Rob Corddry and Leslie Bibb as a married couple in Hell Baby

The movie: A pregnant couple moves into a haunted house in New Orleans, and calls upon the Vatican’s elite exorcism team (played by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant of Reno: 911!) to save them from a demonic baby.
Other projects: Corddry’s got a part in the Steve Carell comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and Bibb is playing Wonder Woman in Movie 43, a series of short films stitched together to form a feature length movie.

Brian Cox as Alderman Morrill in ABC pilot Gotham

The show: A New York City detective (Megan Ketch) realizes the city has a secret magical history that no one knew about. Cox will play a clock shop owner who is actually tasked with keeping the balance of the city’s magic.
Other projects: The upcoming Will Ferrell/Zach Galifianakis comedy The Campaign, and a role in a cop thriller called Bloods.

T.I. as Trey in the Starz series Boss

The show: Kelsey Grammar plays the greedy mayor of Chicago, and T.I. will play a former gangbanger who wants a career in city hall, bridging the gap between crime and politics in the Windy City.
Other projects: Not much – the rapper/actor just got out of jail last August, but he’s got a new studio album called “Trouble Man” set for release this summer.

Abigail Breslin in a lead role in The Hive

The movie: A 911 call center responder (Halle Berry) must face her own fears in order to save a teenager (Breslin) from a deranged killer.
Other projects: The heavily anticipated sci-fi adaptation of Ender’s Game hits theaters next year.

Reese Witherspoon in a supporting role in Pennyroyal’s Princess Boot Camp

The movie: Based on a series of children’s novels, the story is about a school that trains warrior princesses to battle evil witches. Witherspoon will produce and play an still-unknown supporting role.
Other projects: She’s got four movies coming out in 2013, but I’m excited for Mud, which stars Reese and Matthew McConaughey and centers around two teenagers who help an escaped fugitive.

Stephanie March as Natalie Minka in CBS pilotBaby Big Shot

The show: A working class woman uses her clever wit to keep up with her classier colleagues at a New York law firm. March plays a high-ranking associate who looks down on the main character’s background.
Where you might have seen her: As Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot in 12 seasons of Law & Order: SVU.

Allison Mack as Elijah Wood’s new love interest in FX’s Wilfred

The show: Elijah Wood plays Ryan, a guy who sees his neighbor’s dog as a full grown man in a dog costume. Mack will play Ryan’s new love interest, an edgy biochemist.
Where you might have seen her: She played Chloe on The CW’s Smallville, but has been absent from TV screens since the show went off the air.

Camilla Luddington as Claudette on True Blood

The show: It’s True Blood, ya’ll. You know – vampires, shapeshifters, sex, all that good stuff. Luddington will play Claude’s sister Claudette in Season Five of the show, and she’ll give Sookie insight into what it means to be a faerie.
Where you might have seen her: Playing Kate Middleton in the Lifetime movie William and Kate or on Showtime’s Californication.

Thomas Horn cast in both Space Warriors and Joe’s Mountain

The movies: Space Warriors follows five kids at NASA’s space camp who launch into action when something goes wrong on a real space station, and Joe’s Mountain is about an old ladies man (Kris Kristofferson) who is miraculously cured of cancer and tries to save a kid (Horn) with bad lungs with water from a magic lake.
Where you might have seen him: Opposite Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

Danai Gurira as Michonne in AMC’s The Walking Dead

The show: In a post-apocalyptic world in which zombies run rampant, a small band of human survivors rely on each other to stay alive. Gurira will play Michonne, a sword-carrying mystery woman, in Season Three of the successful show.
Where you might have seen her: HBO’s Treme.

The show: Rhys and Keri Russell star as two KGB spies in suburban America during the 80s, keeping their identities a secret even from their own children.

The show: Years after Joanna was raised in a wealthy home as the housekeeper’s daughter, she returns as a detective to solve the murder of a young celebrity who used to be her best friend.
