It’s a day that ends in “Y”, so you know what that means: the onslaught of Prometheus coverage continues. This time, we have a new featurette that goes in depth about the designs of the titular spaceship. I’m gonna be honest with you guys – I only watched the first minute of this because I want to save SOMETHING for the theatrical experience, but in the first minute, there are interviews with screenwriter Damon Lindelof (“LOST”), production designer Arthur Max, and director Ridley Scott talking about the designs and intentions for the look of the ship and what it means in context with the film’s story and themes.

Prometheus finally comes to theaters on June 8th, 2012, so we don’t have much longer to wait to see Scott’s return to science fiction.
