Whatever your opinion of Wes Anderson is, there’s no denying he has his own unique directorial style. His newest film, Moonrise Kingdom, is no exception. Although he’s plucked a crop of Hollywood A-listers per usual, including Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Jason Schwartzman, and Tilda Swinton, it’s newcomers Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward that are the stars of the film, although they’re noticeably absent from two new clips.
Gilman and Hayward play a pair of teens who run away to the outskirts of their New England island, and in the clips we see some of the fallout from their disappearance. We’re not sure a troop of boy scouts is the best search party for the job, but hey, what do we know?

Synopsis: Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl.
