If you thought we were done with Prometheus articles, think again! Ridley Scott’s ambitious return to science fiction is a gorgeous movie that caused a ton of great discussion among movie nerds this past weekend, and here’s one more mystery to add to the pile. At the very end of the credits, there’s a graphic that points us to a website called What Is 10-11-12?, which features a new video of Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce) preparing for his TED Talk viral campaign that we saw a few months ago. Check out the new video below!

The quote “I am a law only for my kind, I am no law for all” is from a book by famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who wrote a book called “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” which is featured all over this new viral site. So what does it mean? It’s likely a reference to many of the themes found in Prometheus about God and mankind’s quest to do whatever it takes to meet their maker. We’re not entirely sure yet, but some have been speculating that the date of 10-11-12 refers to a possible Blu-ray release date for the film. The timing is about right for that, so we’ll keep you posted if any other cool viral elements pop up. In the meantime, check out Prometheus in 3D if you haven’t already – it’s a gorgeous movie that will leave you thinking about it for days.
