As you’ve heard by now, early Sunday morning Avril Lavigne was injured in a bar fight in Los Angeles, but now pictures of her face following the brawl have leaked online and it looks to us as if the pop star’s injuries are pretty serious.

The details surrounding the altercation are still fuzzy but what we do know is that Lavigne and Brody Jenner were at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel when they were attacked by up to five assailants. “At first, the girl called Brody something and that set Avril off so she talked sh– back to them,” a source told UsMagazine.com. “Brody came over aggressively and got involved,”they continued. They were scuffling on the floor. … Brody was the aggressor and had five guys with him. When they finally got up Brody was bleeding.”

While the identity of the attackers has yet to b e released, according to E! News Jenner is pressed chargers against his attackers and has also filed a police report a assault with a deadly weapon, claiming that he was hit with a broken bottle at one point, although that has been contested online. Regardless of the details of what happened, we’re glad that both of them are okay, especially after seeing this photo of the damage the attackers did to Lavigne’s face.

Considering the circumstances, it seems as if both celebrities are holding up pretty well. In the aftermath of the attack Lavigne took to Twitter to write, “”Wanted to thank all of my fans, friends and family for their support over the last couple of days. Saw all ur comments and emails xo thank u,” while according to The Los Angeles Times Jenner’s manager also released a statement saying, “”Brody Jenner is recovering at home after being assaulted in an unprovoked attack this past Saturday night. He appreciates all the calls of support and well wishes.”
