We love nothing more than when a hot girl is able to kick some serious butt. Enter Lyndsy Fonseca, a.k.a. Alex, newbie assassin and mole on the CW show Nikita. On the show, Lyndsy’s character is young, gorgeous, a bit dark, and tough-as-nails. In real life, Lyndsy may have more than one tattoo, but that’s about as dark as she gets (and at least two of them are meant to symbolize peace). Could’ve fooled us! With these acting chops, we expect to see Lyndsy on the A-list, stat.

The 25-year-old was born in Oakland, California, where she lived until the age of 13. At that time, she was discovered in a modeling competition and flown immediately to LA to audition for pilot season. It didn’t take long for her to land her first gig as troubled teenager Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless.

Not long after, Lyndsy graduated from daytime to primetime by scoring the role of Jenn Cardell on the show Boston Public.

TV roles on Desperate Housewives, Big Love, and How I Met Your Mother (as one of Ted’s teenage kids stuck listening to the tale of how he met their mother…) followed, along with big screen roles in movies like Hot Tub Time Machine and Kick-Ass. The latter roles made the men’s magazines sit up and take notice, and Lyndsy made the Maxim Hot 100 for the first time that year.

She hasn’t slipped from the list since, but what’s really made us excited about Lyndsy’s future is the maturity and charisma she displays in her role as Alex on Nikita. She’s a certified scene-stealer as the young assassin, and this is only the show’s second season.
