Move over, Lady Gaga …

Jennifer Lopez is the number one celebrity this year on the ‘Forbes Celebrity 100″ list … ousting Gaga, who was at the top of the list in 2011.

Forbes compiles its annual Celebrity 100 list by taking into account pretax income (from May 1, 2011 to May 1, 2012) and fame of the stars — meaning how often we see their names and faces on TV, in movies and online. The list also uses their social media following as a gauge of their fame.

Taking all of that into consideration, J.Lo raked in a whopping $52 million in the past year … and is considered to be not only a star, but a brand.

Other stars that made the list: Oprah (#2); The Biebs (#3); Rihanna (#4); Lady Gaga, who came in at #5, and Kim Kardashian, who was at #6. Sister Khloe came in at #73, and Ashton Kutcher — who has a dedicated twitter following — came in at #51.
