J-Lo’s new music video, “Dance Again,” made its premiere Thursday night during “American Idol.” The debut attracted the attention of at least one conservative group who, because the show airs during a family friendly “prime time” slot, called the video “skanky.” Nothing says “class act” like using that word.
The video, which is pretty typical of dance videos in this day and age, features Jennifer Lopez rolling around in a simulated orgy with a group of people, including her lover, Casper Smart. The video also features Cuban rapper Pitbull. This marks the second collaboration between Lopez and Pitbull.

So who’s got themselves all bent out of shape about the new video? Most of the flak is coming from the Culture and Media Institute, whose representative, Dan Gainor, had the following to say:
.
“Even the supposedly family-friendly TV shows like American Idol are never safe in the hands of Hollywood. Such sexualized videos aren’t appropriate for any children to watch, including Lopez’s own twins.”

You can check out the video below and see what you think. Was it too racy for prime time or is this just another example of people getting too hot and bothered over nothing?
