We’ve got some sad news for Childish Gambino fans who were looking forward to catching him at the mtvU Woodie Awards which tapes tonight: The rapper (a.k.a. Donald Glover) has been forced to cancel his performance due to an injury.

That’s right, it appears is if Glover fractured his foot during a performance at a show over the weekend. “It is with great disappointment that we announce that Childish Gambino will be unable to perform at this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards after suffering a severely fractured foot over the weekend at a show in Tampa, Florida,” he said in a statement to MTV News.

The childish Gambino also had to reschedule the rest of his tour dates, pushing them back until this summer in order to give himself time to recover. Luckily Fun., A$AP Rocky, Chiddy Bang, Machine Gun Kelly and more will be present at the awards show which takes place in Austin, Texas, and will air on Sunday night.
