The first 400 “Hunger Games” fans to show up Sunday morning at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles were allowed into the courtyard outside the theater, camping gear and all. By Sunday afternoon they got a surprise visit from several members of the cast. Find out who paid them a visit and their reaction, after the jump.

It was Jennifer Lawrence that showed up at the encampment first. “I knew people were camping out, and I couldn’t not come. When the first “Harry Potter” came out, I would have camped out — absolutely. By the time I was 13, I had read the book three times. If I grew up in England, I would have been that person.”
.
She was joined during her visit by Amandla Stenberg (Rue), Alexander Ludwig (Cato), and Isbelle Fuhrman (Clove). The group signed posters and posed for pictures. The grand finale of the day, however, was the appearance of Josh Hutcherson. One fan from a fan site put the day in perspective:
.
“Our frowns were quickly turned upside down when Josh Hutcheron’s bright and shining smile entered the compound. The fansites were lucky enough to have access to Josh before the line of fans were filed in. Josh was incredible kind and humble. He chatted about basketball and of course, Peeta Mellark. He was the perfect end to a perfect day.”

The campers don’t have long to wait, as the world-wide premiere of “The Hunger Games” kicks off in just a few hours. Don’t forget, you can watch the official red carpet event live, right here on Myspace!
