Four New Clips From ‘The Watch’ Bring Comedy To The Forefront

Twentieth Century Fox’s upcoming film, The Watch, (not to be confused with Open Road Films’ End of Watch) has had a rough marketing effort, due in no small part to the change in the title following a shooting incident involving a reported neighborhood watch captain in Florida. Despite the setback, Fox is pushing forward and is still releasing the film this weekend. So here, for your viewing pleasure, are four hilarious clips from The Watch.

In the first clip we see the guys as they meet for the first time. Evan (Ben Stiller) is the take charge guy. First up is Bob (Vince Vaughn) who seems to think the neighborhood watch is more of a guys club. Next up is Jemarcus (Richard Ayoade), who has a sexual fantasy about a hot chick calling for the watch. It’s obvious these guys have no clue right from the very start.

Bob introduces the guys to his man cave, which he calls paradise. While Franklin (Jonah Hill) gets his ass massaged by a special recliner, Bob tries to get everyone a drink, while Evan tries to get the meeting in order.

Our third clip features Evan driving the car while the guys are all drinking beer and singing “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” Suddenly, the party is over as they think they’ve hit someone. When they get out to check out the scene, they find something resembling an octopus tentacle in the grille of the car … with green goo for blood.
.

.
The fourth and final clip shows the guys as they examine an alien orb they’ve found, but it requires all of them to interact with it in order to make it “work.”

The Watch opens July 27th, 2012.

Official Synopsis:An outrageous comedy in which four everyday suburban guys (played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade) come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood — and the world — from total extermination.
