Hot on the heels of a featurette for her role in “Snow White and The Huntsman,” we’ve got another featurette with Charlize Theron discussing her character in Ridley Scott’s upcoming film, “Prometheus.”
In both films Theron is playing a character that we will probably end up loving to hate. In “Prometheus,” Theron plays Meredith Vickers, an employee of The Weyland Company and is sent along on the mission to find the origins of mankind. Since The Weyland Company funded the mission, she is representing their interrest in the project. There’s something below the surface, however, that we’re barely getting a glimpse of in the trailers and featurettes we’ve seen so far. Is it corporate greed? What part of this discovery are they looking to exploit for the advancement of their profit margins? We’ll find out soon enough.
