We’ve only caught a few glimpses of Angelina Jolie in her role as Maleficent, but now we’ve got a few pics from the set showing her flying, with the assistance of a crane, of course. She’s no stranger to stunt work, having done her own stunts for years. It appears she’s still up for the task.

It’s interesting to get a behind the scenes look at how this is actually done. The crane attachment is blue, which we assume makes it easier to erase in the editing booth. Angelina Jolie seems right at home, however, as she’s hoisted many feet into the air. From the look of the action shots, she’s doing some kind of maneuvers in the air as well. Does this mean there will be an aerial fight sequence? Hmmm … maybe.
