Men in Black 3 features the continuing adventures of Agents J and K, but the real stars of the movie aren’t Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones: they’re actually Josh Brolin (playing a young Agent K) and Jemaine Clement, who plays the villainous Boris The Animal. Sony has released a new featurette for the movie that shows us how Clement buried himself under hours of makeup to become almost unrecognizable for this part. Take a look below!

For those of you who don’t know, Jemaine is one half of the hilarious musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, which had its own HBO show for two seasons a few years back. Feel free to listen to their Myspace radio station here if you’re looking to brighten your day a little bit. (I’d recommend their classic “Business Time.”)

Men in Black 3 opens in theaters this Friday, May 25th.

Synopsis: In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind. The film is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. The screenplay is written by Etan Cohen, based on the Malibu Comic by Lowell Cunningham. The producers are Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, and the executive producers are Steven Spielberg and G. Mac Brown.
