Alec Baldwin got fans of 30 Rock all riled up recently when he tweeted “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time” because of a conflict involving a camera crew from The Today Show showing up at his door. This confirms rumors that have been going around for a while that the series’ seventh season will be its last, which shouldn’t be much of a shock for longtime fans of the comedy. The ratings haven’t been fantastic recently, and any series that heads into its seventh year should probably be looking toward the end if it hopes to maintain some semblance of self-respect and quality before it bites the dust. It looks like fans will only have one more year of antics to look forward to, but we’ll let you know if NBC miraculously changes their minds and keeps the show going after that.
