Hopefully, you know Joel McHale from his excellent NBC show “Community,” but many people knew him for years before that from his work as the host of the E! Network show “The Soup.” Every week, McHale makes fun of the best and worst of television, movies, and pop culture, and his sarcastic sense of humor is perfect for mocking the self-serious quasi-celebrities that pervade the airwaves.

Ridley Scott’s Prometheus opens in theaters tomorrow, but you may recall a viral video starring Michael Fassbender as the android David that came out a couple months back. Well McHale and his cohorts at “The Soup” have spoofed that, and released one of their own. Check it out below!

Pretty decent production values for a show that consists of a guy standing in front of a green screen and watching clips of other people’s shows, right? I’m impressed. “The Soup” airs Wednesday nights at 10:00pm on E!, and Prometheus opens in theaters tomorrow.
