.
This is either the highest or lowest point of Justin Timberlake’s career. The singer will guest star as a singing booger on The Cleveland Show. That’s right, a singing booger.
.
The episode in which Timberlake appears is set to air this Sunday, February 20th on Fox and will pretty much be one of the first times we’ve heard him sing in four years—save for a few guest appearances. Timberlake will voice a booger that comes out of Cleveland’s stepson Rallo’s nose.
.
Show co-creator and voice of Rallo, Mike Henry, told Entertainment Weekly, “Rallo’s trying to kick his booger-eating habit because it’s turning all the girls off. It’s basically a goodbye ballad between Rallo and his last booger. We based it on ‘On My Own‘ with Michael McDonald and Patti LaBelle.” Henry also said that Timberlake embraced the role with gusto. “He just busted into this sweet falsetto as this little booger,” Henry said. “He got it down pretty quick.”
