Florence And The Machine’s Florence Welch may be best known for her band’s innovative brand of rock music but she recently stripped things down for an MTV Unplugged performance and discussed about that process with KROQ at Coachella.

“I almost didn’t do ‘Try A Little Tenderness’ because it’s my favorite song and I thought, ‘I can’t do this,’” admitted Welch when asked how she chose to cover this soul classic during the performance. “I didn’t know how to do it the same, but I just thought, ‘I’ve got to slow it down.’”
