Are you ready for the two-hour premiere of “Mad Men” season five next month? AMC has just released at ton of promotional ads around New York City, along with a new TV spot. But the ads aren’t without controversy. Check out the TV spot, the ads, and find out what all the fuss is about, below.

Ok, so now that you’ve seen them all, what do you think? In case you still don’t know what the big deal is, you can check out this article over at Salon, where you’ll find that some people feel bodies falling from towers (the same imagery was also depicted in last month’s season 5 poster debut) was too reminiscent of 9/11 and tasteless. Of course, there are others who say that the falling man and 9/11 imagery have been around since the beginning of the show and it’s no big deal. I would tend to agree with them about the poster. But when the advertising campaign takes on a larger-than-life quality in New York City itself … is that going too far?
