Jessica Simpson is letting it all hang out on the cover of the new ELLE magazine ….

In the interview, she not only reveals that the baby is a girl; she says that she hopes her daughter will be as fashion-conscious as her famous mother.

“I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!” Jessica, 31, says of the baby she’s expecting this spring with fiancé Eric Johnson.

“Eric is so athletic,” she continued, “we’re gonna have this athletic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping, ’cause all she’s gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!”

Jessica also revealed that she and Eric have already decided on a name – they’re keeping mum, but they did say the name is rather “non-traditional.”

Not to burst Jessica’s bubble, but Demi Moore was among the first – if not the first – to pose nude and pregnant on the cover of a major magazine. In 1991, a very pregnant, in-the-buff Demi posed for “Vanity Fair.”
