Keyshia Cole has released a new video for her track “Enough of No Love,” which features Lil Wayne. The clip, directed by Benny Bloom, is a sleek affair that is basically just Cole wearing glamorous outfits and dancing.
.
Cole, with her perfectly coiffed hair and glitter-studded shoes, rolls around in what appears to be a padded cell, thinks about a brooding guy and dances a choreographed routine. Weezy, who shows up halfway through, wears a hoodie and sits on a piano, which means that he looks significantly less glamorous than the leading lady. Watch below:

We’re not really sure how we feel about this. It’s pretty and it’s shiny and Cole sounds good, but where is the story? This seems like a wannabe Lady Gaga clip without the edge and overwrought narrative. Which makes sense when you hear Boon’s idea for the video. The director told Rap Up, “Conceptually I wanted to do something that was strictly fashion and beauty and just a little of narrative. I just wanted people to see her come back, just performing crazy. So I came up with this idea of her sort of being in this padded room as if she had lost her mind over love.” As for why Wayne is wearing a hoodie? Yep, that’s right, he’s shilling for his clothing line TRUKFIT. You can watch a behind the scenes video below:
