Pink Talks About Her One-Year-Old Daughter’s Cameo On New Album
Posted 7/19/2012

.
Kids get started in music so young today. First there was Jay-Z and Beyonce’s newborn daughter Blue Ivy’s cameo on Jay-Z’s “Glory”, and now Pink has opened up about her one-year-old Willow’s cameo on her new disc “Truth About Love.”

.
“Being a mama, I don’t really feel like it’s changed my songwriting, other than the fact that now I do it Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., as opposed to every day until 4 a.m.,” she told MTV News when asked about how having a newborn has affected her music. ”
.
In fact, Pink’s daughter Willow guests on not one but two songs on the album. “She plays bells on ‘How Come You’re Not Here,’ and she plays bass on a song called ‘Timebomb.’ She’s actually quite talented for a 13-month-old,” Pink explained.
.
“There was a basket of sh–, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, ‘Record it!’ And then she went up to the bass guitar on ‘Timebomb’ and started plucking away. She’s actually pretty good! She’s better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs sh–, she’s either going to be violent or a percussionist … or a violent percussionist.”
.
So do you think we’ll be talking about Blue Ivy and Willow as pop stars a decade from now? Let us know in the comments section below as you listen to some Pink Radio!
