Court has apologized to daughter Frances Bean Cobain for her rant on twitter that Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl “hit on” Frances. (An accusation both Frances and Dave vehemently denied.)

“Bean, sorry I believed the gossip,” Courtney tweeted on Saturday. “Mommy loves you.”

In response to mom’s twitter tirade, Frances had issued the following response:

“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.”

Dave — with whom Courtney has a hate/hate relationship — also said Courtney’s claims were “offensive and absolutely untrue.”

Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles.
