Today’s True Blood season 5 tease is a 30-second promo spot that is actually kind of funny. Titled “Don’t Cry. It’s Back,” the trailer is full of characters from the show bawling their eyes out. On the surface, it seems like there’s a lot of bad times ahead, but it’s the last few seconds of the video that make it funny.
Despite a previous trailer in which we got some clues as to the events that are to transpire this season, and character posters that revealed at least one character in question is definitely not dead, this video offers nothing of the sort. We don’t know why anyone is crying, but hopefully we’ll learn more as we await the premiere of season 5 on June 10th.
