By this time next week everyone will be talking about Karmin, a pop duo comprised of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan. Why? The group is set to perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend alongside host Zooey Deschanel.
.
The duo, who met at Berklee College of Music in Boston, released their first album, Inside Out, in May 2010, but have largely gained attention on YouTube, with covers of songs like Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” and Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass.”
.
Thanks to the attention, Karmin inked a deal with Epic Records last year and have been hard at work on their major label debut, expected out this spring. So far two singles have emerged, “Broken Hearted” and “Crash Your Party,” both of which we think are pretty catchy. And which may end up on SNL this weekend.
