Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena star in the upcoming fast-paced crime drama, End of Watch. In this red band trailer we get to see some footage that we haven’t see so far with Gyllenhaal and Pena in action. It should go without saying since this is the red band trailer, but this should be considered NSFW because of the language involved.

In this trailer we get introduced to Officer Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Officer Davis (Cody Horn) as they work the streets. Then, in what will forever change their careers, they confiscate money and firearms during a routine traffic stop … but the perps are anything but small time. The tension escalates (with a killer soundtrack) when they make a significant drug bust and the cartel puts out a hit on them. Looks like there is even some hand to hand combat involved at one point when they are waiting for backup to arrive. Writer / director David Ayer (The Fast and The Furious, Training Day) should have another winner on his hands with this one.
