Top o’ the morning to ya! This St. Patrick’s Day, we thought we’d do a little digging and find out where some of our favorite stars and their ancestors hail from. We were shocked to find how many we didn’t know had roots in Ireland. I mean, LiLo we knew about. But Johnny Depp? Who’d have guessed? Enjoy!
.
.
Lindsay Lohan: LiLo is of Irish and Italian heritage and was raised Catholic. Her maternal family were “well known Irish Catholic stalwarts.” Her mother Dina Sullivan came from a well known Irish-American family that traced its roots back to County Cork. Dina met and married Michael Lohan –- another Irish Catholic with Cork roots. That’s the story and we’re sticking to it!
