While we’ve had our eye on Looper for quite some time now, after the Comic-Con panel, it looks like it could become the sci-fi hit of the year for Sony. Now they’ve released five new images from the film which feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt, some hot dancing girls (including Emily Blunt), Bruce Willis, and Jeff Daniels.

Most of these images appear to come from the trailer, with the exception of the one behind the scenes, where we see writer / director Rian Johnson giving Joseph Gordon-Levitt some hands-on tips from behind handlebars of our hero’s bike. Wait … is Joe the protagonist or the antagonist? Or can he be both in this story?

Either way, it looks like a damn good movie. And with Emily Blunt as a hot dancing girl, how can you go wrong? Although we’re not exactly sure how she fits into the plot (and that was one secret that they held tightly at Comic-Con), it does appear she’s going to be kicking some ass. Official Synopsis: In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.
