We’ve got a bunch of clips and trailers from various indie movies across the web today, so we figured we may as well combine them into an easy-to-view one stop shop. Below, there are the first official trailers for Ang Li’s Life of Pi and Leighton Meester and Hugh Laurie’s The Oranges, plus five clips from the Paul Dano/Zoe Kazan rom-com Ruby Sparks. Check ‘em all out and let us know what you think in the comments!

First up is the trailer for Life of Pi, an amazing-looking movie about a shipwreck and the lone survivor who is trapped on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger, a zebra, and a hyena for over 200 days. It’s going to hit theaters in 3D on November 21st, 2012, and this could be one of the rare experiences where paying the extra price for 3D is actually worth the money. Take a look below:

Next up is the trailer for the new film The Oranges. It’s a family dramedy about Leighton Meester’s character, who comes home for Thanksgiving, hooking up with her dad’s best friend (Hugh Laurie from “House”) and all of the trouble that creates for both families. Alia Shawkat, Allison Janney, Adam Brody, and Oliver Platt round out the cast, and this trailer comes courtesy of Yahoo!. No release date is officially set yet, but expect it in theaters sometime this year.

And finally, we’ve got five new clips from the romantic comedy Ruby Sparks starring real-life couple Zoe Kazan (who made her feature writing debut with this film) and Paul Dano. Dano plays a writer who conjures his love interest Ruby Sparks (Kazan) out of thin air and follows the consequences of that special event. The film is out in limited release starting today, July 25th, 2012.
