Ciara premiered the video for her latest single, “I’m Sorry,” today after teasing fans all week with still shots from the clip. And, as it turns out, the actual video is even better than anticipated.

The singer explained of the track, which is about love lost, “It’s someone that I really loved. They’ll know who they are when they hear the song.” The video reflects this sentiment, as Ciara and a lover are in a house in the Hollywood Hills, distant from one another. The singer looks pained as she slumps in the front seat of a car and on a couch in the darkened living room. Later, she dances in the setting sun outside, channeling her frustration into the moves. Pretty good, right? We wish we could dance like that when our heart gets broken. Seems like a solid way to deal with your upset. This is the first number from Ciara’s upcoming album One Woman Army, which is expected out this winter. She previously said of the disc in a press release, “I can sometimes be afraid of my own vulnerability. But this time I let myself face it. I let myself feel. I let myself be real. I let myself hurt and be healed.” The album’s second single, “Got Me Good,” will be out October 8, but you can just replay this video over and over to tide yourself over.
