Ever since we got our first peek at the tracklisting for B.o.B.’s latest album, Strange Clouds, we were struck by the intriguing pairing of the rapper with pop singer/songwriter Taylor Swift for the album-cut “Both of Us.” Namely, we were curious how the two would interact with one another seeing as they come from vastly different musical backgrounds. Well now we have our answer! A video courtesy of Access Hollywood has just been released that goes behind the scenes on the shoot for the song’s music video. What immediately caught our attention was the fact that Swift and “Bob,” as the singer refers to the Atlanta MC, felt like long-lost soul mates. They were constantly kidding around on set, Swift was freaking out when B.o.B. had a spider on his shoulder, and they were  just generally appearing to have a helluva good time. The video is set and was also shot in the South — specifically Nashville — and director Jake Nava aimed to create a “collage of different aspects of humanity in the Southern states.”

The result is a locale-shifting visual that shifts from the country to a seedy billiards pub and finally to a house party. B.o.B. called the video “the quickest moving video” of his life.
