Here’s a collaboration we’re not entirely confident in: Usher says that he thinks the world “deserves” a joint track from himself and Adele.

Usher told Capital FM in the U.K., “I think the world deserves an Usher and Adele record. That’s what I think.” To which we say: But do we really deserves that? Usher also joked during the interview that he wants to stop Adele’s 21 from breaking the sales record set by his album Confessions.

“If I have to confess, I have to confess that I have told a few people not to go and buy Adele’s album because I don’t want her to go and break my record,” Usher joked. “No, actually, I love her. Unfortunately, she’s the closest to breaking my record for the last 10 years. So now, guys, don’t go and buy that album right now.”
