Zedd – Clarity (Interscope, October 9)

Russian-born German-raised EDM producer Zedd will release his debut album this fall. The disc features collaborations with Ellie Goulding, Ryan Tedder and Foxes, and will include the DJ’s hit track “Spectrum,” which features Matthew Koma.

Stone Sour – House of Gold & Bones Part 1 (Roadrunner, October 23)

Stone Sour will unleash the first installment of their upcoming double album, recorded with producer David Bottrill at Sound Farm Studios, this fall. The second half will follow next year. Guitarist Josh Rand said, “House of Gold & Bones takes everything that’s great about this band and amplifies it. The riffs, the lyrics, the grooves and the songs are like Stone Sour times 10. There’s also heavy stuff that’s like nothing we’ve ever done before . It’s dark as hell and a complete experience from the first track to the last.” You can hear two new tracks on the band’s website here.

Minneapolis rapper P.O.S. will release the follow-up to his 2009 album Never Better this October. The album will feature collaborations with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, Ryan Olson of Gayngs, Boys Noize and members of the Doomtree collective. Check out the video for the disc’s single “Bumper” below:

The Polyphonic Spree – Holidaydream: Sounds of the Holidays Volume One (Good Records Recordings/Kirtland Records, October 23)

The Polyphonic Spree will unleash their first new album since 2007’s The Fragile Army this fall. The disc, a holiday album, was produced by Eric Drew Feldman (Captain Beefheart, PJ Harvey) and The Speekers (The Polyphonic Spree’s Tim DeLaughter and Julie Doyle). The album includes ten holiday standards, two original songs and a cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s classic “Happy X-Mas (War is Over).”
