It’s been a couple of days, but it seems as if people still can’t stop talking about Tupac Shakur’s holographic performance at Coachella on Sunday night.
.
In that case, it should come as no surprise that in an interview with the Wall Street Journal with Ed Ulbrich of Digital Domain Media Group Inc. — the visual effects house that created the image — it was announced that there are plans to take the 2-D version of Tupac on the road to a concert hall near you soon.
.
When you think about the fact that the hologram cost between $100,000 – $400,000 to create and project, it makes sense that the creators would want to use the hologram for more than just the two weekends of Coachella … and we’ve got to admit that it would be pretty captivating to see him onstage again with living legends like Dr. Dre and Eminem.
