This week was all about movie premieres, and I’ve plucked my favorite (and least favorite) looks mainly from the red carpet debuts of People Like Us, The Savages, and Ted. On the whole, the following celebs did pretty well, and most fall onto my best dressed list. Keep reading, however, to find out which 3 ladies were the exception to this week’s rule (epic fails!)…

If you read this column weekly, you’re aware of the fact that Elizabeth Banks hasn’t exactly been killing it on the red carpet lately.  At the premiere of People Like Us, however, she dazzled in this perfectly-styled sequin number. This outfit is a solid 10 — welcome back, Elizabeth.

If Elizabeth killed it on the carpet this week, what Blake Lively did was something akin to a massacre. There actually aren’t adjectives adequate to describe how perfect this look is. I want to be Blake. Sigh.

There are few people who could so much as garner a glance next to Blake looking as she did at this premiere, but Salma Hayek did a pretty good job grabbing some attention for herself — and her curves — in this gorgeous green gown.

And speaking of curves! Reese Witherspoon looked adorable at an event in Chicago this week – honestly, she could pass for a (classy) teen mom here, no? She looks like a baby herself!

Also a mom (hard to believe!), newlywed Camila Alves shined in blue this week as well. The man standing next to her doesn’t look so bad either, eh?

Speaking of not looking bad, Olivia Munn likely had no trouble picking up a date at the Magic Mike premiere. Yowsers! The 31-year-old is officially a woman!

Mila Kunis has also clearly grown into herself post-Black Swan. She looks like a bonafide bombshell in this dress, which was the perfect compliment to the otherwise frat-tastic premiere of Ted.

And now (drumroll please)…let’s take a look at the three starlets who did not impress on the red carpet this week.  I hate to pick on a pregnant lady, but this is not the prettiest photo Anna Faris has ever taken. I am not a fan of this dress simply because it’s a bit too graphic for me — you can see almost everything!

Also inappropriate on the red carpet this week was Emma Stone, pictured here at the Amazing Spider-Man premiere in Madrid. This dress is gorgeous, but it’s way too old for her. The old-time-y styling isn’t doing the look any favors, either. If we were Andrew Garfield, we definitely would’ve gone home alone that night!

And to top us off, here’s Ashlee Simpson at a Samsung event in Los Angeles. I really have no idea what she might have been thinking when she got dressed — was she blindfolded  Was she dared? Does her stylist hate her? I.do.not.understand. Maybe she’s been out of the spotlight for too long?
