Will Smith and Denzel Washington in talks for remake of Uptown Saturday Night

The movie: Anchorman director Adam McKay is directing this remake of the 1974 movie that features two guys who attend a high-class but illegal party that gets robbed. When they realize one of their stolen wallets has a winning lotto ticket in it, they face off against the criminals to get it back.
Other projects: Smith will next appear in this summer’s Men in Black 3, while Washington is about to begin production on an action thriller called 2 Guns opposite Mark Wahlberg.

Owen Wilson starring in The Coup

The movie: In his return to the action genre, Wilson will play a father of a family who gets caught up in a violent coup in Southeast Asia. It’s supposed to have a tone similar to Liam Neeson’s Taken.
Other projects: He’s set to star in a really interesting upcoming movie called Freezing People Is Easy opposite Kristen Wiig and Paul Rudd, about a man who experiments with cryogenic freezing in the 1960s.

Jennifer Lawrence as the lead in The Glass Castle

The movie: Lawrence will play real-life gossip columnist Jeannette Walls in this film that chronicles her crazy upbringing with abusive, unresponsive, and nomadic parents.
Other projects: She can next be seen in the horror film House at the End of the Street when that comes to theaters this September.

Taylor Swift as Joni Mitchell in Girls Like Us

The movie: Swift will play iconic musician Joni Mitchell in this story that follows the rise of Mitchell, Carly Simon, and Carole King in the music scene of the 1960s.
Other projects: No other upcoming acting gigs yet, but Swift’s voice just appeared in Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, and she performed a song for the soundtrack for The Hunger Games.

Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick

The movie: This Lifetime Original film will see Lohan, one of the most recognizable tabloid stars in recent memory, playing one of the most famous tabloid stars of all time: Elizabeth Taylor. The film will tell the story of the lasting love between Taylor and her husband, famous actor Richard Burton.
Other projects: LiLo stars alongside Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez, and Adrien Brody in a new movie called InAPPropriate Comedy.

Jaden Smith as a teenage assasin in Boy Nobody

The movie: The son of Will stars as a brainwashed teenage assassin who starts to regain his emotions. Think a mini-Jason Bourne, and you’re on the right track. It’s the latest in a long line of young adult novels trying to be the next Hunger Games.
Other projects: Jaden returns to the big screen opposite his father in M. Night Shyamalan’s sci-fi projectAfter Earth.

Gina Carano starring in the newest Fast & Furious movie, tentatively called Fast 6

The movie: Carano will play a member of The Rock’s team, out to catch Vin Diesel and Paul Walker’s characters after the escapades of Fast Five.
Where you might have seen her: Tearing up the ring as a professional MMA fighter before making the transition to acting in this year’s Steven Soderbergh film, Haywire.

Jessica Chastain co-starring in Iron Man 3

The movie: Chastain will play a sexy scientist who is just as smart as Tony Stark in the continuing adventures of Marvel’s metal superhero.
Where you might have seen her: In seven (!) movies last year alone, including Take Shelter, The Debt, and The Tree of Life.

Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak in indie film Jobs

The movie: Gad will play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak opposite Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in this biopic about the early days of Apple as a company and the drama associated with its roller coaster ride to success.
Where you might have seen him: He’s appeared in movies like 21 and Love and Other Drugs.

Kelly Reilly as the lead in Innocence

The movie: Another in a long line of vampire films, this one follows a teenager who realizes her elite private school is actually home to a blood-sucking gang. Reilly will play a school nurse with a dark secret.
Where you might have seen her: She’s best known for her role as Mrs. Watson, Jude Law’s wife in the Sherlock Holmes movies.

Laura Ramsey as a supporting role in You Are Here

The movie: “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner makes his directorial debut on this film, which features Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis as brothers in a complicated drama about love, loss, and friendship. Ramsay will play Wilson’s love interest, a recent widow who was once married to Galifianakis’ father’s character.
Where you might have seen her: If you have a great memory, you might recall her performance as “Naked Blonde with Sailor Cap” in Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere, otherwise you might remember her from movies like The Ruins and Middle Men.
