Posted 2/17/2011

.

–A Tupac biopic is set to start filming this spring, following in the footsteps of ‘Pac’s nemesis, The Notorious B.I.G., whose biopic Notorious was released in 2009.

.
****To my knowledge (Director Antoine) Fuqua is holding an open casting call for a new face to play ‘Pac, which I think is a smart move. No one thought Gravy would be able to pull off Biggie in Notorious, but I think he did a decent job. Can’t wait to see this.” Behind The Beats with Jerry ****

.

Kanye West spits a guest-verse on a remix of Katy Perry’s new single “ET.” Kanye raps, “Tell me what’s next, alien sex? I’m-a disrobe you, then I’m-a probe you.” Classy, Yeezy. Listen to it here.

.

Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler squashed rumors that the legendary Ozzy Osbourne-fronted band would be reuniting. “There will be definitely no reunion of all four original members of Black Sabbath,” he wrote. “Whether to record an album or to tour.”

.

****It’s always disappointing to hear a legendary band pull the plug on something so powerful to so many people – but the Ozzy camp has claimed so many “lasts” before that I don’t believe fans should discount anything; performance, album, or otherwise. Anticipation is the best marketing. Let’s cross our fingers on this one.”– Warped Tour with Kyle****
