.
.
”Total Recall” – August 3rd
Starring: Colin Farrell, Bokeem Woodbine and Bryan Cranston
Synopsis: As the nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai vie for supremacy, a factory worker (Farrell) begins to suspect that he’s a spy, though he is unaware which side of the fight he’s on.
Who should see it: This is another hard core sci-fi offering and should be seen by all fans of the genre. However, film buffs should note that this movie is based on the original Philip K. Dick short story and not the original movie, so there are some major differences in the films.

Synopsis: Set in the Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, a bootlegging gang is threatened by authorities who want a cut of their profits.
Who should see it: This crime drama comes to us from the era of prohibition, where the war on drugs was a war against alcohol. If corrupt cops, moonshine, and a stellar cast are in your area of interest, don’t miss this summer’s latecomer. It could just steal the season.
