Britney Spears has not put out any new material since last year’s Femme Fatale. But a track featuring the pop star-and-new-X-Factor judge has now emerged. “Pleasure You,” on which Spears accompanies unsuccessful X Factor audtionee Don Philip, was recorded during a 2010 studio session. There is no word on how the two linked up. It is however safe to say this is not Spears’ finest offering. And Philip, well, it’s painfully clear why he was booted off X Factor. Listen to “Pleasure You” below.

Philip recently posted the track on his SoundCloud page and then went on Facebook to take a direct jab at his trackmate. “Back to real life… all my demons released,” he wrote. “I totally crocked when the pressure was on… at least I didn’t shave my head… my vocal chords tightened up like a snake around a mouse.”

If you are in severe Britney withdrawal, X Factor will return for its second season this fall on Fox. In the meantime, it appears the the pop star is taking her judging role quite seriously. Simon Cowell recently told People that Spears is al business. “She’s not on the show to be Britney Spears on a TV show,” he said. “She’s actually there to prove to the world there’s more to her, and she’s got the ability to do this job really well. She’s taken the role really seriously.”
