Mandy Moore has revealed that she is currently working on a new album, this time with help from her musician husband Ryan Adams. Let’s all say it together: Awww.

The duo, who married back in 2009 and are basically the cutest celebrity couple that exists, have partnered up to craft the follow-up to Moore’s 2009 disc Amanda Leigh. Moore told CBSNews.com, “I’m probably going to work with my husband on this album. I’m not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we’ve been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there.” Adams also inspires Moore’s music in other ways. She added, “There’s tremendous influence right now around the house – from the music I’ve been introduced to and being very happy and in a healthy, happy relationship. I think that still garners a lot of material to write about.”

As for what fans can expect from the album? Moore said, “There’s a lot to say and a lot that’s happened to me in the last three or so years since the last record’s come out. So I have been writing a lot and it’s definitely going to be an intense, emotional record. I’m excited about it. I’m excited to get into the studio and start recording.”

Moore, who recently voiced a character in the animated film Tangled, has been somewhat out of the spotlight lately. Her focus may be on this new album, but it sounds like the actress isn’t quite finished doing movies. “I like to have my plate as full as possible,” Moore said. “I also try to be picky and choosy and find things that are going to help you grow and evolve and challenge you. If projects don’t really fit that kind of criteria then I’m happy to try to be as patient as possible and wait for the right things to come along.
