In the second piece of news involving tour violence today, a man was shot at Jason Aldean’s concert on Friday night in Raleigh, N.C. The fan suffered a gun shot wound in the parking lot following the concert and is currently in the hospital and expected to recover.

The incident reportedly occurred in the parking lot as fans were exiting the show. Those in the area when the shooting occurred were forced to remain for over an hour while the police arrived and investigated. A concert attendee told local news station WRAL, “They weren’t letting anybody in or out. It was horrific. We were stopped the entire time. We couldn’t get out of there.” To be fair, it was probably more horrific for the person who got shot, but we get it, it sucks to sit in traffic.

The police are currently still investigating the shooting and are looking for the gunman. Those with information regarding the incident are instructed to call 919-834-5357.

Aldean, who will continue his tour this week, tweeted, “There’s no excuse 4 things getting that heated in traffic leavin a show. I’m prayin 4 the fan who was injured and thanx to the Raleigh police for acting so quickly.”

This news follows a report that a fan was stabbed at a Tenacious D concert in Las Vegas over the weekend and several weeks’ worth of news about similar stabbings.
