Last night Madonna played an intimate show for 2,700 fans at l’Olympia in Paris however things took a turn for the worse when The Material Girl left the stage after performing for just 45 minutes prompting the crowd to yell “refund!” at the singer.

That’s not it, though. Madonna was also called “salope” (the french word for “slut”) for ending the gig so early (see video below). This is even more incredible when you consider the fact that the people in the audience were extreme Madonna fans many of whom were in her fan club and slept outside the venue overnight to get a spot close to the stage.

This show was added at as a last minute following criticism she received for a show in Paris earlier this month which saw her play a video of party leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika on her forehead. “I know that I made a certain Marine Le Pen very angry with me,” she explained last night. “And it’s not my intention to make enemies … It’s my intention to promote tolerance.”

She went on to add, “when we start saying that we have to get rid of this person or we have to get rid of that person, because then we’ll have a better place, it starts to sound like something else, it starts to sound like something scary. So the next time you want to point the finger at somebody and blame them for a problem in your life, take that finger and point it back at you.”
